"Fiddles in the Forest" a 3 day residential program at The Ashokan Center in Olivebridge, New York, designed to ignite students' excitement and love of traditional fiddle music. Participants will learn fiddle melodies, rhythmic and harmonic accompaniments, and applied music theory, enabling them to create fun jam sessions with their friends. Fun, challenging activities such as body percussion, harmony singing, and folk dancing are taught, awakening students' innate musicality and fostering group cooperation.
